Who Won Miss Universe 2010 : Jimena Navarrete - Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete 22-year-old has won the Miss Universe pageant after donning a flowing red gown and telling an audience it's important to teach kids family values.

She beat off competition from 83 other contestants to become the second Miss Universe from Mexico after Lupita Jones won the title in 1991, according to News Provider. Navarrette, a model, stressed her beliefs in family values and her life is about to be enhanced by a myriad of prizes for becoming Miss Universe.

As well as the title she won a year-long scholarship to the New York Film Academy and will also receive clothing, jewelry, shoes and other gifts. As Miss Universe, Jimena Navarette will also get the chance to take part in bringing awareness to problems across the world and also charitable work. Second place in the competition was taken by Yendi Phillipps, Miss Jamaica while in third place was Jesinta Campbell, Miss Australia.
